Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to the websites eskala.energy and 2net0.com (the "Sites"), which are operated by the same founding team and governed by the same data practices.
We are in the process of incorporating our operating companies in the United Kingdom. Until incorporation is complete, the Sites are operated by the founding principal based in London, UK. Our contact email for all data matters is info@eskala.energy or info@2net0.com.
We take our data responsibilities seriously. This policy is written in plain English, not legal boilerplate, because we believe you deserve to understand clearly what we do with any information you share with us.
What data we collect and why
The Sites are informational. We do not operate user accounts, subscription services or e-commerce. The only personal data we collect comes through the contact enquiry form, which asks for:
- Your full name
- Your organisation name
- Your work email address
- Your area of interest (selected from a list)
- A message describing your enquiry
We collect this data for one purpose only: to respond to your business enquiry. We do not use it for marketing, we do not add you to mailing lists, and we do not share it with third parties.
Our lawful basis for processing
Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases:
- Legitimate interest — to respond to business enquiries submitted through our contact form. We have assessed that our interest in responding to enquiries is proportionate and does not override your rights and interests.
- Consent — where you have ticked the consent checkbox on our contact form, confirming you have read this Privacy Policy and agree to us handling your enquiry data as described here.
What we do not collect
We want to be equally clear about what we do not do:
- We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag or any other behavioural tracking tools
- We do not use advertising networks or retargeting
- We do not use session recording tools (such as Hotjar or FullStory)
- We do not set non-essential cookies
- We do not collect data from minors and our services are directed exclusively at business professionals
Cookies
Our Sites use only one cookie, set by your browser when you acknowledge our cookie notice. This cookie stores your preference so we do not show the notice on every page visit. It contains no personal data and is not shared with any third party.
If you block cookies entirely, the Sites will function normally. You will simply see the cookie notice on each visit.
How long we keep your data
Enquiry emails are retained in our inbox for a maximum of 12 months from the date of last meaningful contact. If an enquiry does not progress to a business relationship, we delete the correspondence after 12 months.
If an enquiry develops into a client or partner relationship, we retain relevant correspondence for the duration of that relationship plus six years, in line with standard UK business record-keeping practice.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.
Your enquiry email is received and read by the founding principal only. We may in future engage professional advisers (legal, financial) who may need to review correspondence in the course of their work. Any such adviser would be bound by professional confidentiality obligations.
We do not use third-party CRM platforms, marketing automation tools or sales platforms at this stage.
International transfers
Our primary operations are based in the United Kingdom. Our email is hosted by a UK-based provider. We do not routinely transfer your personal data outside the UK or EU.
If you contact us from outside the UK, your data will be processed in the UK under UK GDPR standards.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access — you may request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — you may ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Right to erasure — you may ask us to delete your data, subject to any legal obligations we have to retain it
- Right to restrict processing — you may ask us to limit how we use your data
- Right to object — you may object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Right to data portability — you may request your data in a portable format
- Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the details below. We will respond within one calendar month.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the UK at ico.org.uk, or with your national supervisory authority in the EU.
Changes to this policy
We will update this Privacy Policy as our business and data practices evolve — for example when we incorporate our companies, engage data processors or introduce new services. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Material changes will be noted clearly.
We recommend reviewing this page periodically if you have an ongoing relationship with us.
